Company History and Today

 

 

The humble beginnings of Sloanebuilt Trailers started in a tiny suburban shed, in Camden NSW in the 1970's and have been under the ownership of Fred and Helen Marano since the late 1980's.  

 

From small beginings to now employing over fifty local employees and apprentices.

 

Sloanebuilt is proud to have a very strong, loyal and committed work force that is made up of quality tradesmen, apprentices and engineers.

 

 

Together they have established Sloanebuilt's reputation as respected manufacturer of quality frontline trailers, which have set the bench mark for the industry of today. 

  

 

25 Year Milestone

 

Sloanebuilt have celebrated 25 years of being industry leaders in the tipping body and trailer manufacturing industry. Sloanebuilt celebrated its 25th birthday with the grand opening of its new 1620 cubic metre extension to their modern Hartley Rd factory. 

 

The special occasion was marked by a grand opening of the facility by Camden Mayor Chris Patterson where more than 200 clients, staff and special guests joined Fred and Helen Marano in celebrating the milestone.

 

Sloanebuilt will continue to aim to be industry leaders over the next 25 years and beyond delivering the highest quality products and services they are renowned for.

Sloanebuilt are members of the Motor Traders Association of NSW.

 

The MTA assist in the daily running of Member’s businesses through advice and services and also by lobbying to ensure a long and viable future for the industry.

The Australian Road Train Association (ARTA) is the industry advocacy organisation run for and by the Australian road train and multi-combination sector.

 

 

Formed in 1989 at a small meeting in Dubbo. Today the the ARTA is a nationally recognised transport industry association.

 

The strong and Sometimes controversial voice of the ARTA has been heard in many places from local government right through to the state and federal Transport Ministers offices.

The Livestock and Bulk Carriers Association (LBCA) is the leading NSW regionally focused road freight association.  It represents regional carriers with a strong focus on livestock and bulk carriers who use NSW roads.
